Just to recap: good fat is fish, animal and seed oils. Bad fat is hydrogenated fat (or trans fats or mono and diglycerides of fatty acids) which is in low fat spreads and margarines as well as cakes, biscuits, pies and some breads – read the labels.
Animal fat in small proportions is OK as long as you are eating plenty of meat, vegetables, fruit, fish and drinking plain water. In fact the body needs animal fat and gristle to keep the joints healthy as in the fats from fish and muscles.

A practitioner told me that their patient with ME was advised to eat more protein, she was a vegetarian. She wanted to be well more than be a vegetarian so she began to eat meat and was very surprised when she felt almost 90% better.

When I next vote, I want to vote for a party that has clear moral codes with the strength to abide by them.
I write this today because of the Embryo Vote; it has been agreed to use embryos ‘mixed’ with animal parts to produce something to use in trials for stem cell research even though nothing has been shown that this will produce the hoped for outcome.
